Motorola shows six new phones: V1150, V557, V280, V270, and V176

Motorola is increasing it's product line with six new phones: V1150, V557, V280, V270, and V176Motorola RAZR 3G V1150 smallWell, that new 3G RAZR we wrote about recently is now as good as confirmed. The specs are still: tri-band GSM/GPRS, WCDMA,
2.2-inch QVGA screen, 2-megapixel camera, TransFlash slot, and extensive multimedia playback.

Furthermore they released:

  • The V557, which features Push-to-Talk, Bluetooth and EDGE. It will be in store in Q2
  • The V280 is known as the SLVRcam, which from its specs (Bluetooth, a VGA camera, and Push-to-Talk) may be
appear to be the so called "Borneo".
  • The V270 is the SLVRlite, which is the same phone as the SLVRcam V280, just without the cam. Release date is Q2.
  • The V176 is pure low-end.—A budget clamshell phone featureing Push-to-Talk.
  • The Vodafone-only multimedia-centric V1050, which has a 1.23-megapixel camera, two-way video calling,

i-Cybie, the robot dog...

i-Cybie

It was predictable: After the big succes of Sonys AIBO (at least in Japan) someone had to develop a similar toy. And surprise, surprise: It's a DOG! ;)
The i-Cybie is capable to do some typical doggie moves such as sit, stand, shake and lie down, as well as
using its robotic brain to respond based on how it’s treated: praise it and the dog will be in a good mood, but scold
it and i-Cybie will behave more passively. Sensors throughout its body help prevent it from bumping into things, and
enable i-Cybie to be sensitive to light changes. In case of "low-bat" the dog will go into the “downward-facing dog” yoga pose to let you know it needs recharging. Cuuute!

Motorola cancels iTunes phone launch at the last minute!

Motorola Logo

Today was supposed to be the big day that
Motorola unveiled the first
iTunes phone (which is probably going to be the
E399), but at the last minute they decided to cancel,
supposedly in response to a “last-minute message from a wireless carrier or carriers.” The official word from Motorola
is that they decided to kill the big announcement after consulting with the carriers who would be offering the phone
because they wanted “to wait to announce it when everybody is in sync with it.”
So what happened? It looks like one of the carriers or several carriers were not happy with the handset and pushed Motorola to postpone the announcement.

Sony Ericsson D750i, a T-Mobile Europe exclusive.

Sony Ericsson D750i

It's official now: T-Mobile Europe is going to launch the SonyEricsson D750 , which is a branded version of the W800.
It will feature a 2-megapixel camera, with autofocus, 4x digital zoom, preflash, and with red eye reduction, 38MB flash memory, an included 64MB MemoryStick Duo (with support for up to 2GB cards), MP3 playback, FM tuner, and a foreign language translation application.

Here you got the pics:

Bluetooth controled camera by SonyEricsson

The silverish thing showed below is ROB-1
It's a camera on wheels which roves about and captures images. It can move around freely, steered wirelessly by the joy-stick or keypad on your mobile phone or as for P900/P910 with the touch screen, enabling you to see on your phone screen exactly what ROB-1 is looking at. You can then capture these images using your phone just as you would a normal photo.
WICKED!

Last but not least the hard drive is plug-and-play, so you can connect the phone up to your PC over USB and use it as a file storage
